In January 2011 Ib Andersen and three other on2 dancers founded Aarhus Mambo Klub
with the aim to teach and disseminate New York Style Salsa/ Salsa on2/ Mambo. Ib has danced
New York salsa since 2006 and have mainly been taught by The Mambo King himself-Eddie Torres
from New York city. Ib frequents several salsa congresses in Europe and has been trained by
several salsa icons: Ismael Otero(New York), Juan Matos(New York), Yamulee Group(New York),
Adolfo Indacochea(New York), Jerome Ramos(New York) and Mouaze Konate(Paris). He is teaching
partnerwork and shines in the Mambo Klub, and is the organizer and DJ of the mambo socials.
He is known for playing "first class" congress level salsa music.
Nadia started in Aarhus Mambo Klub as lucky member nr. 100 in Spring 2016. She took it as a sign and has enjoyed every step of the dance ever since. Nadia likes the elegance of the NY salsa style and the playful atmosphere between the partners.Dancing has been a part of her life since she was 10 years old. It started out with showdance, funk and hiphop. Within the recent years she has turned her focus towards latin styles such as cuban, bachata, cha cha and NY style. She teach Partner Work and performs with the Show Team.
Josefine is quite new in the Salsa community but have done rhythmic gymnastics for 8 years. She stumbled upon Aarhus Mambo Club in September 2015 during Aarhus Festuge and just fell in love with it and has been dancing ever since. She is part of the group's Show Team and is participating in her first congress in Warsaw this November.
She is a very open-minded and positive person and loves to be helpful to others. She is teaching partnerwork in Mambo and cha-cha.
Bolette Mia Enemark has played several instruments since 2005, and singing her whole life .. music has always been a great part of her life.
She has danced disco and hip-hop and in 2016 she joined a Mambo Social and completely fell in love with Mambo and cha-cha-cha.
Bolette has been teaching feminin-fitness for 2 years and gymnastics for the last 8 years, so teaching comes quite natural to her. She loves helping people to improve their skills. She is teaching partnerwork.
Marc Poulsen has been addicted to salsa since 2004. He is trained in various latin styles such as cuban, rumba, batacha, L.A, mambo and cha cha. His dance experience comes from the local dance schools in Aarhus and from his stay in Cuba and Los Angeles. He has been teaching for 3 years and has his own dance company in Herning. His classes are primarily focused on Mambo combined with body isolation, shines, and styling technic. His passion is the social dance floor.
